Description:
The Snowdrop Anemone is a delicate-looking, early-spring blooming perennial. It prefers light shade, acidic soil and regular water. The buds dangle from their stems, reminiscent of snow drops. The fragrant, single-petaled flowers open toward the sky in a procession of white. Summer heat diminishes their their bloom power but as the cool returns with the fall they will bloom again.

When it is happy, it will spread rhizomatically forming a dense clump that can be divided in the fall. If the foliage looks scorched by the summer heat, simply shear it and it will refresh itself rapidly.
